helping Make your home safe and efficient

At Storm and Energy we start with an Audit to determine ways to conserve Energy and Save Money

The audit is our tool to determine where you are at so that we can provide solutions to help you get where you want to go. Every home and homeowner’s goals are unique.

We then look at ways to produce energy away from the grid for Savings and protection against power outages.

The power grid can be unstable and fail along with being a very dirty way to rent power. We look at ways to conserve energy as well as ways to produce your own.

“There is always about a half dozen things that make up 80% of the difference”!  Jim Rohn

Home back up Generator

After the freeze here in Texas in early 2020, home generator demand skyrocketed. These types of generators also known as standby generators use either propane or natural gas as sources of fuel, and in some cases diesel. The systems they will be able to cater to will, however, be driven by size. The amount of power your home uses, coupled with your plan of use during an outage will determine what size generator you need. Another key factor is whether the home uses batteries as well. The generator becomes part of the system and can be used to recharge batteries along with Solar.

Home back up Battery.

A home battery works in much the same way your phone, laptop or EV car works. During a power outage the back up system kicks on, the house then uses battery power. Batteries can be stacked to provide more available power. When the batteries get low they need to be charged using solar panels, generator or when the power comes back on. One of the huge benefits of using alternative sources is breaking free from renting power from the grid through your provider.  Offsetting or eliminating the renting of power allows you to use the same money to pay for your system.

Testing the air you breath in your home tells us a lot.

It’s not just about the potential hazardous air your family could be breathing but it also exposes possible problems with your home ventilation as well as leaks and moisture that may need addressed
